Vero Beach’s Loss Ends Four Game Winning Streak

Vero Beach lost 2-1 and they were held to just one hit in the game.  Hunter Vick singled and he drove in the only run of the game for Vero Beach.

A decent start by Michael Wlodarczyk went to waste.  He gave up two runs on eight hits and a walk with six strikeouts in six innings of work.

Wade Davis, Greg Dupas Pitch Vero Beach to Win Over Daytona

The Rays got some solid pitching in their 5-1 win over the Cubs.  Wade Davis threw 5 2/3 innings and gave up just one run on six hits and two walks with seven strikeouts.  Greg Dupas picked up the win with 3 1/3 innings of shutout relief.

Hunter Vick had a nice day at the plate.  He went three for four with a run and an RBI. Neil Walton went two for four with a double and he scored twice.

Vero Beach Blows Out Palm Beach

Vero Beach ran up the scored on Palm Beach in their 11-3 win.  Patrick Cottrell had a big game at the plate.  He went three for three with two doubles, a triple, four RBIs and a run.  Hunter Vick went three for five with two runs and two RBIs.

Paul Moviel coasted to an easy win and he improved to 1-2.  He gave up one run on five hits and four walks with two strikeouts in six innings of work.

Vero Beach Drops Third Straight Game in Another Loss to Brevard County

Hunter Vick singled three times and that accounted for more then half of Vero Beach’s hits in their 3-2 loss to Brevard County.  He also scored twice one of the two runs.

Jeffrey Kamrath took the loss when he gave up one run in his 1 1/3 innings of relief.  He gave up two hits and he struck out three.
