Jae Seo dropped to 1-1 on the season with a pretty poor start in the Bulls 10-4 loss to Rochester. He gave up nine runs on twelve hits and two walks with one strikeout in 3 2/3 innings.
Brent Butler doubled twice and he drove in a run. Jorge Velandia hit a solo homerun in the loss.
Chris Richard hit a first inning grand slam and while it didn’t turn out to be enough, the hit definitely set the stage for the Bulls 8-4 win. Joel Guzman also homered and he drove in two runs while Jorge Valandia went one for three with two walks and two runs.
Jeff Niemann improved to 7-4 on the season with a decent start. He gave up four runs on eight hits and two walks with three strikeouts in six innings.

The Bulls put eleven runs on the board in a 11-3 blowout win over Ottawa. There were plenty of hitting stars and four Bulls went yard but Jorge Velandia was the only Bull with three hits. He went three for five with a homerun and two runs scored.
Lost in all the offense was a nice start by Jeff Niemann. He gave up a single run on five hits and two walks with five strikeouts in five innings of work.
Jason Hammel improved to 2-5 on the season with a nice start in the Bulls 4-2 win over the Chiefs. He gave up one run on five hits and two walks with five strikeouts in seven innings of work.
Jorge Velandia went two for four with a run and an RBI. Elliot Johnson singled twice and he drove in two runs.
Durham scored two runs in the top of the ninth to win a 5-4 game over the Clippers. One of those runs came on a solo homerun by Raul Casanova, who went two for four with two runs. Jorge Velandia went two for three with a double, an RBI and two runs scored.
Chad Orvella picked up the win with two innings of relief. He gave up a run and he struck out three.
A pretty good start by Jason Hammel went to waste in the Bulls 2-1 loss. He gave up just a single run on four hits and two walks with four strikeouts in five innings of work. Tony Peguero gave up the second run and he took the loss.
The lone Durham run came on a solo homerun by Chris Richard. Jorge Velandia went two for three in the loss.
