Vero Beach got some great pitching in their fourteen inning, 2-1 win over Tampa.  Matthew Devins hit a walk off homer in the bottom of the fourteenth to win it.

Wade Davis struck out eight and gave up just one run in his six inning start.  Chris Kelly picked up the win with two shutout innings of relief.

Vero Beach and Palm Beach combined for nine errors in Vero Beach’s 9-5 loss.  Matthew Walker took the loss.  He gave up seven runs (three earned) on five hits and three walks in two strikeouts in six innings.

Matthew Devins was the hitting star in the loss.  He went two for three with a homerun and two RBIs.
