Chris Kelly gave up a run in the bottom of the tenth inning in their 3-2 loss to Tampa. Jeff Kamrath had a decent start go to waste in the loss. He gave up two runs on five hits and four walks with five strikeouts in 5 2/3 innings.
Rhyne Hughes doubled and he scored on the Ray’s two runs. Neil Walton drove in the other run with a solo homerun in the third inning.
Michael Wlodarczyk fell to 4-3 on the season with a rough start in the Vero Beach’s 9-6 loss to Sarasota. He gave up six runs on four hits and four walks with three strikeouts in just two innings.
Christopher Cunningham was the hitting star in the loss. He went two for three with two doubles, two RBIs and a run.
Vero Beach’s hitters had a rough time in their 7-1 loss to Brevard County. Three hits isn’t going to cut it and that’s all the Rays could manage. Rhyne Hughes doubled and he scored the only run of the game for Vero Beach.
Michael Wlodarczyk took the loss and he fell to 4-2 on the season. He gave up three runs (two earned) on five hits and three walks with seven strikeouts in five innings.
Matthew Walker dropped to 1-6 on the season with a tough start in Vero Beach’s 8-2 loss to Fort Myers. He gave up five runs on five hits and five walks with one strikeout in two innings.
Alex Jamieson doubled and he drove in both Vero Beach runs. Neil Walton doubled twice in the loss.
Vero Beach Fort Myers 8-2 in a rain shortened game. Rhyne Hughes doubled, drew a walk and scored three runs in the win. Aaron Sisk went two for three with a double, two RBIs and a run.

Erold Andrus was the hitting star (if you want to call him that). He went one for three with a double, a walk and a run.

Greg Dupas was the pitching star. He gave up just two hits with three strikeouts in three shutout innings of relief.
Vero Beach was probably looking for rain in this one because they lost 16-0. The offense picked up just five hits and Garrett Groce was the only Ray with two hits.

Vero Beach had plenty of hitting stars in their 8-4 win over Sarasota. James Hall went three for five with a double, a triple, two RBIs and a run. Alex Jamieson went two for five with two RBIs and two runs.
